The Antinori Family was attracted to this spectacular property located on a plateau in the Atlas Peak Appellation of Napa Valley because of its winegrowing potential; its rocky soils, high elevations and beautiful landscape.

The estate is located high in the eastern mountains of the Napa Valley in the remote Atlas Peak District, situated at an altitude of 1,800 feet above sea level.
