There’s nothing quite like summer at Yankee Stadium. The weather’s
warm. Thousands of spirited fans fill the stands. And Yankee pride is in
the air. At NYY Steak, Executive Chef Robert Gelman keeps the summer
excitement going, by adding new flavors to his already acclaimed menu.
If you taste nothing else, you must try the Watermelon Salad (Chef
Robert’s favorite.) It’s salty and sweet perfection – hearty chunks of
sweet, ripe watermelon against a vibrant cilantro-lime backdrop, topped
with creamy, salty goat cheese. Tossed with English cucumber, shaved red
onion and cherry tomatoes, it’s summer salad at its best.
Fresh catches found their way to NYY Steak’s summer selections. Chef
Robert brings some of his New Orleans inspiration to the table and infuses
fish from around the world with seasonal ingredients and deeply flavored
sauces. You’ll also find a signature pasta dish, featuring a hearty helping of
Italian pasta, colorful Hudson Valley vegetables and succulent seafood or
chicken.
Of course, no matter what the season, you can always go for the NYY
Steak Signature Long-bone Rib eye. It’s dry aged and dusted with
mouthwatering seasonings and comes to you personalized, with your
name or your favorite Yankee’s name and number carved in the bone.
Bring your appetite and a camera.
Even Chef Robert will admit, you can’t go to a ballgame at Yankee Stadium
without having a beer. But once you dine at NYY Steak, it’s going to be
pretty tough to visit the Big Apple without a dinner at Yankee Stadium’s
legendary steakhouse.
